Snow layering toggle

We need an option in settings to control snow.  I want the snow in my world but i would like an option to stop it from layering.  My animals all escaped because the snow layered high enough and I don’t want to have to make the fences higher.  I like them the way they are.

So i am proposing an option be added to either make snow stack or make it how it used to be in the beginning.

    I would personally like snow to be how it used to be in the beginning. When I saw snow layers for the first time I noticed how they ruined the biome completely. I can’t believe it was added in the first place! Having grass grow naturally and over a period of time is the same as snow layering. And no one wants to have to destroy grass all of the time. There is no way for snow layering to be implemented in a nice way in a game like Minecraft
