Since migration to Microsoft account, starting Minecraft is a huge chore

Since the migration from Mojang to Microsoft accounts, it is a huge chore to start and play Minecraft.  You have to enter your account, then password, then click "Let's go" then you get to play the game.  Yes, I have 'stay logged in' enabled.  Before the migration, you could just run Minecraft and most of the time, you didn't have to mess with logging in because it really did remember your login details.

This is on MacOS, Linux (and probably Windows too).  Because of this silliness, you're undoubtedly chasing players off of Minecraft to other gaming platforms that are less cumbersome and don't make you jump through hoops every single time you want to play.

    I don't relate. I have no clue what you're talking about (I do not have this problem).

    I don’t have this issue. I am on an M1 MacBook, and I have close to no problems. The only problems are with old versions before M1 support so it’s understandable. Maybe list your issue on the bug tracker?
