There are no hostile mobs exclusive to the jungle at the moment. I believe that the addition of the Tangler could make jungle exploration much more interesting, dangerous, and rewarding, while also adding a mob that would fit extremely well with the forest biome as a whole. Tanglers are large spider-like mobs that inhabit burrows that occasionally generate in jungles, with five burrows being the max amount that can generate in a jungle. Tanglers themselves have very poor eyesight due to their eyes being very small and located on top of their heads rather than in front of them like normal spiders. To find prey, they instead rely on webbing that lines the blocks at the entrance of their burrows as well as throughout the burrows themselves. Mobs or players that walk on this webbing, excluding Tanglers themselves and other spider types, will be slowed and alert the Tangler. Once alerted, the Tangler will pathfind towards wherever target may be in the webbing and bite it with its venomous fangs, dealing damage on par with a stone sword and giving their victim 15 seconds of poison before retreating back into their burrows for a short time. If their victim continues to remain in the webbing, they will return after a few seconds and repeat the process mentioned until their victim is killed. During the day, Tanglers will remain deep within their burrows until prey manages to get caught in their webbing, but by night they will instead linger around the entrance of the burrow for prey.
