Arrows with Piercing should not be Deflected

Maybe at the cost of not going through the target with Deflect, cancelling each other out.

    absolutely. since enemies with deflect enchant can surprise any player, the option to preven an istant auto kill is mandatory.
    enemies with deflect would take full damage from the arrow while stopping its trajectory without piercing other mobs
