Enderman is the only mob can pick and put block in Minecraft. This feature makes them more mysterious. Personally I think it is cool but I am not a big fan of the issue they cause.
Since Enderman will no longer despawn when they picking block, it means they must put back the block to despwan. This is a make sense fixing but dilemma too. Those random blocks really make your masterpiece have a bad look. Also they may make your villagers/animals escape and messing up your redstone because there is no condition when Enderman griefing.
Furthermore, If an Enderman picks a block and leave player's active area 128 blocks away, they will get freeze. Then more and more Enderman doing same stuff, it will create an 'Enderman Zone' - a bunch of Enderman concentrate in one place. If you are the players who like stay at your base and one day you want an adventure, 'Enderman Zone' will be the first scary thing you see.
Specific Gamerule may not be a perfect solution to this. I think we need a 'Survival Way' to stop Enderman to pick blocks such as light level or other creative ways. Also we need a 'Putting List' for Enderman, let them know where should they put down the blocks.
Is is just my problem? I am not wanting to remove this feature and I really want to know what you think.
