Strongholds should add a mob that patrols around the place. Currently there is nothing interesting or scary to watch out for when entering a stronghold, the only mob that exist there are silverfish and they don't feel like a challenge to get around especially given that they spawn from a monster spawner which can be stopped by using torches. However there could be another mob which i have thought of called the hallowed knight. The hallowed knight is an undead mob that is like a draugr (which are a part of Scandinavian folklore) that can patrol around the stronghold to 'guard' players from getting to the End portal. They would be heavily armor, have a shield and a new weapon called the battle axe that players can use (which will expand the combat system a little further). If players activate the portal, any nearby hallowed knights will come to try to 'stop' players before the jump in, similar to piglins when you mine gold in the bastions. This concept is all just a work in progress coming out of thought so of course anything could change.
This addition would be nice for the anticipated End update so players have some kind of challenge trying to get to the end portal by trying to get pass the hallowed knights.
