Goblin

Here is an idea, add goblins to Minecraft and if your chests aren't protected enough they will take/ eat a valuable and merge with it ( e.g.- diamond goblin ) and they will get violent if you try to take it back with say a pickaxe if it was an ore. You could possibly tame it with a valuable or the same valuable it's holding or is e.g diamond goblin you give a diamond.
