After seeing the ancient deep dark cities i think ancient cities would be a really cool and interesting addition to some Minecraft biomes, these cities could spawn inside of the jungle and the desert. These cities would have loot similar to ship wrecks for an incentive to search the city. These cities would add a lot of history and lore to all Minecraft worlds.
The jungle city would be Aztec themed with some temples and old ruined houses obviously covered in moss and vines.
The dessert city would be mostly berried under the sand and would require the player to dig out and excavate the city, the city would be built out of smooth sand stone so it doesn't blend into the normal sandstone. The smooth sand stone would be visible from the surface making it easier to spot.
