One thing I wanted for a long time in Minecraft dungeons was a way to better find the right, specific piece of gear to better create new playstyles for myself, but I was never sure on how it could be added in. Then on Minecraft Live 2021, the winner of the mob vote was the Allay which gave me this idea on how to do it.
I suggest adding a new merchant that, for a price, will get the item you want, enchantments included. let's say I want a glave, with sharpness, fire aspect, and shockwave. I would go up to the new merchant, give them a glave, and then also other items with the enchantments I am looking for. once everything is selected and the service fee has been paid, the Merchant will send out there Allay helpers to find the gear you are looking for, this could work like the blacksmith and you have to complete a curtain amount of missions until they are back. I think this could be very useful for players who don't have the time to spend hours finding the perfect weapon and makes it much easier late game to play exactly how you want to. This could also create a nice progression ark as when you start playing, you are scavenging for anything that can be useful, and the more you progress though the game, you get more control on what you want, and how you want it.
p.s. I just wanted to add a little note here. Because the Allay likes to be around music, the Merchant could have like a semi-disco theme to it. anyways, Thank you for considering this idea and I hope you have enjoyed it.
