Rabbit Cage/Trap

Since rabbits die so easily and for some players, they spawn in locations hundreds to thousands of blocks from their base, there should be a way to transport them more easily. Having a cage, trap or some other transport would save so much time, energy and wasted effort. It could be similar to how axolotls are shown in a bucket. Something like this would work well because while you can lead them home on a lead or by holding dandelions, they still fall to their deaths or get attacked by wolves and foxes which lead to your transport efforts being fruitless. I have to cross mountains and/or oceans to get to one of their biomes and I’ve never successfully gotten one to my base in survival.

    or maybe not just for rabbits but for transporting mobs in general
