Gnomes in mine-shafts

Rare 1 block tall gnome like creatures in underground abandoned mine-shafts. They should have a trading feature, where you would be able to trade raw ores, smelted ingots and emeralds for things, such as pickaxes, axes and other tools or basic armour. They should be a lone spawn, and not super common, but enough so you would find at least two in mine-shafts. I think these would be good because we don't have any mobs that are just found in mine-shafts, and they could do with a special mob that is helpful as well. 

For a sound effect, I think they could make a higher pitched villager noise, and also have different coloured hats and be a peaceful mob.
