You will be able to find castles throughout the land, and make an allegiance with either the pillager forts or the knight castles. Going into a knight castle wont make them attack you unless you have sided with the pillagers, and vice versa. You will be able to 'recruit' knights/pillagers to bring along with you for a certain amount of time, and they will fight for you. Knights and pillagers are natural enemies, and may raid or lay siege to the other side's forts. You can become the ruler of a castle/fort by defeating the leader in an arranged battle, and will obtain a strong weapon as a gift.
New mobs:
Knights are the opposite of vindicators, some may carry shields, and they can equip items and armor.
Lords are the leader of a castle, and you may choose to duel them for the leadership of a castle. (you can only rule one) They are effectively a boss mob when dueled, and 'drop' a powerful weapon if you defeat them.
illager overlords are the same as lords, except they rule a fort instead of a castle.
New Mechanics:
When a castle/fort you either rule or have visited before is under siege (which is like a raid, but more of a wall defense battle) you will get a notification, like "Castle Redmont is under Siege!". When you defeat a siege, the residents will gift you stuff, and the overlord/lord will give you a gift. You can start a siege by bringing a lot of knights or illagers over to an opposite side's castle/fort, and you will instead fight a offensive battle.
