When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone repeaters should give off weak signal to the sides if locked.

When a redstone repeater (or comparator) is powered and facing into the side of another repeater, it locks it. Make it to where if you place a redstone repeater on the other side of the locked repeater facing away from the repeater (or comparator) that is locking the locked repeater, allow the said redstone repeater to detect the power coming from the repeater that is locking the middle repeater.

I feel this change would be useful and I don't think it would mess up any redstone contraptions.

I suggest this because I have a redstone contraption that uses the locking mechanic, and it would be significantly compacted if this feature existed.
