256x256p player skins

The max size for skin textures in Minecraft is very annoying to me. I believe that other players have this same complaint. Making a 64x64 pixel skin (the texture file itself would be 256x256) is 4x's as detailed, and would allow for full creative expression. I do not believe that a larger file size then 256 is required, but this minimum would be better for certain skins.

    Yes! I have the same problem! I spent alot of time making a 256x256 skin and I can't even import it! This made me very sad so, please, increase the file size so I can show my skin off!
