Structural Supports for Strongholds

I have noticed that now that caves are much larger, strongholds are commonly found exposed and floating. Since the abandoned mineshafts got a revamp with things like chains and logs to hold them up, I think it would be great if strongholds had the same kind of thing. I was thinking maybe big stone pillars, sort of like on ocean monuments, or just making world generation create “natural” supports like for villages on mountains. Either way, strongholds look pretty wack right now, and structural supports would vastly increase their appearance.
