The jungle is a bit disappointing at the moment. Every year at minecon I think that the biome update will involve the jungle, but no. So I am here to make a stand for the jungle. So here are my suggestions that I think could easily be added to minecraft.
1. Tigers:
Tigers would spawn in the jungle as bengal/malay tigers. They would be neutral mobs similar to polar bears. If you approached their young then they would attack you. They would also spawn in tundras and have white and gold variants. You can tame one as a cub like a fox. They would eat any livestock (cows, pigs, sheep etc)
2.Monkeys:
Monkeys would have different variants too. These include standard monkeys(multiple different colours) and orangutans. They would eat fruit and steel and loose on the ground. You can barter using cocoa beans.
3.Poachers:
This would be a new type of illager. They would spawn in small hunting groups in biomes like jungles, savannas and taigas. They would paralize different animals using special arrows in crossbows. They would then use a new mob called a redstone mutt to drag their prey with them. The redstone mutt would be a redstone mechanical dog. The poacher would have a pelt on their shoulders according to the biome they spawned in (eg tiger pelt in jungle). They would have a fur hat and a belt carrying different weapons. You can stop a hunt by killing they poachers. They would drop sleeping arrows. If you fail the hunt, you get a debuff effect. They are quiet rare.
Thank you!
