When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).
How about it will be possible to create partial beacons by placing a solid block and not letting light pass above it?
I also suggest to allow horizontal beacons which will mostly be useful for redstone contraptions that have beacon detectors - a new block that emits a redstone signal when a beacon hits it. A different signal for every color from 1-16 blocks in range.
