Iron golem attack after respawning

Hi, so I made a lot of progress in one world in the coastal village. I accidentally angered the Iron Golem there and it killed me. When I respawned it continued to attack me whenever it saw me. I was forced to delete that world as I was a newbie to the game and didn’t know how to solve the problem. I got very sad later on about deleting the world. I suggest that you stop the iron golem from attacking us after respawning so that other newbies like me don’t feel the way I do.
