Ray tracing option for mobile

Ever wanted to make ur world look pretty, well not all platforms have that option like Minecraft Pocket Edition, could make that available for moblie, mojang.

    Ray tracing requires very specific GPU’s, something that no mobile phone currently has.

    But the Iphone 12 and 13 might be able to handle a downgraded version of Ray Tracing (I don't know for sure) with their new chips like the A14 bionic.

    YEAH! I agree! I feel left out that only computers have all the cool things! We need to change that! Same with Roblox! They have Roblox studios! And we can’t even get Roblox studios on mobile! We need to make all games equal no matter what device you play on!

    Mojang I have been waiting for rtx on mobile for phones and tablets why is it that PC's and console's could have rtx but mobile devices can't.

    The new samsung s22 are the first phones with ray tracing so this can be posible.

    Minecraft rtx will be available I think on iPhone but not on android. Apple unveiled at wwdc 2022 the metal 3 graphics API which, like nvidia, will allow dlss and ray tracing graphics acceleration but on android I don't think it will be available because the open gl rendering engine does not support supports these technologies. So even the new s22 and its amd chip will not be able to take advantage of it. In a few months minecraft rtx will be available on iOS 16 (only) from a13 chips:
    -iPhone SE 2020
    -iPhone 11 and 11 pro
    -iPhone 12 and 12 mini
    - iPhone 12 Pro
    -iPhone 13 and 13 mini
    - iPhone 13 pro
    for iPads:
    -ipad pro 2021
    -ipad air 5
    -ipad air 4
    -ipad 9
    -ipad air 3
    -iPad mini 6

    Not all phones are garbage 1 rammed rocks mojang should let phones that have enough ram to support atleast weak shaders turn on ray tracing.

    Most of the devices can't operate the ray tracing.
    You can't invent the devices specifics.
    Ray Tracing is impossible for most of the devices.
    Like have 8k on a GT 730 hahahaha.

    They probably can when the new iPhone 15 launches. It’s going to have an a17 bionic chip, Which can definitely handle ray tracing. PLEASE ADD RAY TRACING TO POCKET EDITION🙏🙏🙏!!!!!

    A new version Android chip Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 now i think its sutaible for rtx because i play many game with high require gpu like fortnite can play 120 fps on my phone ... With highest graphics so i think rtx will available on this chip

    A17 Pro supports hardware accelerated raytracing and upscaling via MetalFX. It is fully capable of playing Resident Evil: Village and Assassins Creed Mirage at console quality. I see no reason the iPhone 15 Pro series could not receive upscaling and ray tracing support. It’s on Mojang and Microsoft to optimize and unlock it on capable devices. As much as I’d love to see it come to mobile, I’m worried we won’t see it for a long while, based off the eternal wait for raytracing to come to Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

    The newest iPhones offer ray tracing capabilities and I think it would be incredibly to be able to experience that in Minecraft.

    ray tracing will be good since now in late-2023 mobile phones took a next step in graphics and gaming by having a hardware accelerate ray tracing which means now ray tracing should be enabled for mobile devices with the new ray tracing gpus in the phones.
