A Checkpoint system in Minecraft dungeons

Now most recently Minecraft Dungeons received a new DLC- Echoing Voids. The 'Citadel' level of the DLC Took almost a hour to reach end. However my victory was snatched away from me when the vengeful eye of ender boss killed me. So i have suggested a idea that can make the game easier

Checkpoint system

In Minecraft dungeons. There is a 'Totem' system with 3 different lives. However while this system is good. I suggest a 'Checkpoint system' in which there will be 3 checkpoints. 1 at the start, 1 at the middle  and 1 before the boss . If you lost all lives. You would be taken to last checkpoint and given another chance with 3 totems. Now while this would make game way easier, it should be considered that this game is for age 10 and above and a game made for kids and for that, its already very hard specially in Apocalypse +

    What a coincidence. I too thought of this after losing much of my time with the Echoing Void levels.

    I understand if checkpoints aren't typically seen as an appropriate addition to any Dungeon Crawler, really... but I would not complain.
