Enable World Transfer and Sync Between Nintendo Switch and PC (Bedrock)

I would like to request an improvement to Minecraft Bedrock Edition regarding world management between Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.

Currently, Nintendo Switch players cannot export or import local worlds, and the only way to transfer a world to PC is through a paid Realms subscription. This creates a limitation for players who own multiple devices and want to continue their worlds across platforms.

Issues

  • No world export/import on Nintendo Switch
  • No free method to transfer worlds between Switch and PC
  • Realms is the only option and requires a subscription
  • Inconsistent world management across Bedrock platforms

Requested Improvements

  1. Enable world export/import on Nintendo Switch
  2. Provide a free method to transfer worlds between Switch and PC
  3. Improve platform parity for Bedrock world management
  4. Optional cloud sync using Microsoft accounts

Why this matters

Many players start worlds on Switch and later want to continue on PC. Allowing world transfer without Realms would improve accessibility, fairness, and consistency across Bedrock platforms.

    Agree I started my mc forever world on the family switch but now I play on pc but I can’t get my worlds across

    My son likes to play on a switch and to watch Youtubers play Minecraft. He also reads their books, which grant additional minecraft bonuses, downloadable only on PC. I would like to transfer these bonuses (worlds, resource-packs, etc) to his switch...
