Better "/replaceitem" command

I think it would be better if you added the replace feature in "/replaceitem" command "/replaceitem [target] [slot item] [slot id] replace [From:ItemName] [Into:ItemName]" ex. "/replaceitem entity @p slot.armor.head 1 replace leather_helmet 1 iron_helmet 1" how it works? well if the player is wearing leather helmet it will change into iron helmet but if the player is wearing other helmet the command won't work unless it is leather helmet I try my best to explain it, I'm not really good at English thank you:)

    Well... You can kinda do that with tags. Technically if you make a command block that adds a tag like "leather helmet" or something that also replaces the armour slot with a helmet then you can make it do it only replaces leather helmets
