Is there anyway people can still play Minecraft on windows xp and vista

I believe in reviving old computers and there’s many more people on YouTube that do it to so I’m not crazy. Minecraft should be able to run on windows xp and vista, I’ve done it for years and they and it’s worked fine. Whats the problem now, have they forgot about the customer. They should have at the least made launcher available to people to have had mojang accounts in the past.
