Notification Of Minecraft Account Transfer to Microsoft Account

What is the process for notifying members that their account is ready for migration to a Microsoft account? I have a notice every time I bring up the launcher that I will be notified but you do not state how we will be notified. Will we get a notice that are account is ready transfer in the Launcher (Preferred) or will it be by email?

I have options set in my email application to send certain stuff to trash or spam and then trash is cleared automatically and spam is deleted weekly. I do not check my email on a daily basis and could be away from home for weeks at a time and are unable to check my email. I do not use other devices to check my email because I don't want to get hacked on one of those devices and have it dole out my information.
