Dogs with Rabies

I got a good idea for minecraft add a wolf/dog that spawns hostile because it has rabies and if the wolf/dog bites you, you have a chance of contracting rabies which gives you a damage boost while damaging yourself over time, think of it like poison it damages you over time but with damage buff and the wolf/dog spawns hostile and it has a white pixelated foam particle effect, also makes it the same texture as a untamed wolf when you hit it. Also why not be able to have a corgi or a husky or a German shepherd.
