Dear Mojang Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
Thank you sincerely for your ongoing work on Minecraft and for introducing new features regularly.
I kindly suggest adding pigeons (and other birds) as new mobs.
Currently, parrots are the only tamable bird in vanilla Minecraft. Though charming with unique mechanics, it is disappointing that no other bird species has been added after so many years.
Pigeons are common, recognizable, and ideally suited to villages, cities, and human environments—perfectly matching plains villages and urban builds. They would add natural life and realism.
Adding pigeons (and future birds like sparrows, crows, or doves) would:
Increase variety of passive mobs and ambient life
Offer more options for themed farms and decorations
Make forests, villages, and plains feel more alive
Be easy to implement (similar to chickens or parrots)
I recognize the long list of requests, but greater bird variety would bring joy to many players.
Thank you for considering this suggestion and for supporting the community.
Best regards,
Przemek
