Original village with archaeology

So I have this idea. Maybe with the new archaeology you can find a really old map. That shows the way to an original village, original village is the old village, before village and pillage changes the village to how it is today. And the original village could look all abandoned and to stand out could spawn in water. Since it would look like the water came over time. Maybe some houses could be buried in the dirt/sand. And maybe if you find a chest it could have rubies. Since it is an old village and rubies were the old emeralds. I know rubies were turned down to it’s similarity to red stone and it would be hard for color blind people. But the shape of it is different. And it isn’t like you are mining for it. You find the naturally in chest. Even if the rubies don’t come back I still think this is a really good idea.
