The Stone Born and The Dripstone Rune

Found in Dripstone caves, these large lumbering Goliaths would first appear as inert boulders covered in Dripstone stalagmites. When the players come within a certain distance, they would animate and rise. They stand over 4.5 blocks, with two Dripstone stalagmites on their shoulders. While slow, their attacks would deal considerable damage which would disable shields. They also use the Dripstone environment to their advantage, as when the player stands beneath Dripstone stalactites, they will roar to cause the stalactites to fall on the player. They will also launch the Dripstone stalagmites from their shoulders at the player. When killed, they drop Dripstone and Dripstone Runes.

Dripstone Runes-dropped by the Stone Born, this rune uses pointed Dripstone as ammo. When used, it will summon a group of stalactites above the mob, which after a small delay will fall on the selected foe. They can be enchanted with a new enchantment, Caging. When a mob is hit with enough stalactites, a ring of stalagmite will form around the mob, trapping them. The cage crumbles after a short amount of time.
