For the new caves and cliffs update, I have come across a problem when exploring the new mountain biomes. Although I can wear leather boots, my pets that follow me cannot and usually sink in the powdered snow. It's really annoying and I have lost many pets to this especially since they can walk right into it even though I'm being extremely cautious in the terrain. I hope there can be some way to counter this.
