Midgets are passive mobs that are black in appearance, have yellow glowing eyes, and have a lizard tail. They love mining ores especially coal and mostly spawn on mineshafts and caves looking and mining for ores. You can trade with them like 3 coal for 1 lapis or 30 coals for a diamond.
