In A Minecraft Movie (2025), Steve (Jack Black) describes villagers as peaceful, "total pacifists and vegetarians" who "love crushing loaf" (bread) and inhabit Midport Village. He advises others to leave them alone, calling them "big softies" but warning not to mess with them, as they are protected by local Iron Golems. They aren't like that in the game! They have to move their eyes, eat and talk like an animation!
