skeletons should drop sticks and string occasionally

Everyone knows that sometimes skeletons drop their bow when they die. Well, maybe sometimes, instead of dropping the bow, there should be a chance that the skeleton should drop a couple sticks and a string instead of a bow, to kind of make it seem like the bow broke. Just a fun addition that I thought would be a good idea.

    But then it would ruin the point of spiders dropping string.

    There are a few good data packs that give variety of drops to mobs, and it honestly helps reduce grinding. I think dropping strings and sticks instead of a bow would be a good one. unless Mojang finally gets a good uncrafting system rolling. to take apart junk items like used bows into useful bits.  Adding leather to other mobs, even if you decided to small/scrap hide "rabbit hide" would be handy if find a cow is tricky.
