Bilbies anyone?

A bilby is an endangered animal found in Australia, and I think they would be a fun addition to Minecraft! A bilby is a mouse-like creature with long ears and a long tail, and they are also really cute! I have liked bilbies for a long time and I am sure there are some other fans out there too. The bilby would spawn in the mesa biome since it could pass as a blocky Australia. And of course, like all mobs, the bilby would need a purpose. Maybe it could occasionally drop red sand? That way you wouldn't have to permanently set up camp in your nearest Mesa to get the rare sediment. Maybe since it eats bugs in real life it could hunt Silverfish and Endermites? What if it could dig 1×1 burrows so you have to dig after it! The bilby is cool and endangered. Why not put it in Minecraft?

    (I forgot to say that sand takes up 20-90 per cent of a bilby's faecal waste. That's why I included the dropping red sand part.)
