Suggestion: Add a third value to the syntax of the /datapack command that creates a render of the selected block.
Example: /datapack create example "description of example" minecraft:stone
The result of this command is the following image (I use this tutorial to make that image)
On a side note: In my humble opinion, the pack.mcmeta file is missing a "title" field to give texture packs a proper title (maybe with colored text) instead of just the filename. It's not aesthetically pleasing to see (for example) "my_datapack.zip", especially next to the appropriate titled data/resource packs like "Default", "Programmer Art", and "High Contrast".
Another side note: if the `/datapack create` command exists, there should also be a variant for `/resourcepack`. However, in my humble opinion, if `/datapack create` is to be updated, it would be more appropriate to replace it with the `/createpack` command or combine everything into `/pack` (to add ingame-command options with the resourcepack) with the following syntax: `/pack <resources|data> <id> <description> <block_logo (if possible)>`
