When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone Detectors

Redstone Detectors can detect incoming Redstone that is powered in all directions and carries power. If power is coming where the detector is it will detect any redstone. There has to be 22 or less blocks for the detector to work. It is crafted with 4 stone on the corners. 4 Redstone Blocks and a Redstone Dust in the middle.

This post is for Bedrock. When playing in Java it can only detect blocks up or down if any redstone is up or down 8 blocks.
