Minecraft Dungeons blacksmith

I know I'm a bit late to the party because I quit Dungeons for a while but I came back and was kind of disappointed to see that the way to get items in the lobby area changed. I miss how you could go up to the blacksmith and spend all of your cash that way rather than having to pay emeralds to be able to get more crates. I understand that you did this so if somebody wanted a specific class of items they can buy that crate but idk I just miss the other way. not demanding a change or anything but just kind of ranting a bit ig lol.

    Tough. There are random items from the Mystery Merchant. Anyway, why do you want to get scammed 100000000000000000 times before you get what you want???

    I never really felt I was getting scammed. If I didnt get something I needed from him I would just play a level and get gear and gems from there then use the gems again. Ig my main issue with it is you have to pay to get more gear rather than befire the price just steadily increased
