Behavioral changes to tamed wolves and cats to make them feel more alive
Personalities
All pets are assigned a random "personality". It does not affect battle, such as a wolf's ability to fight mobs, but instead affects interactions between other pets.
Assign a Pet's Home
This is a system supposed to work in combination with various behaviors. A tamed wolf or cat's "home" is defined as a block radius, and can be changed manually with a bone or string respectively. If a structure (same framework as a village) is within this radius, it encompasses the building instead.
Multi-Pet Interactions
- Notes: These interactions only occur if both pets are inside their assigned "home" to avoid distractions during exploration or combat (especially PvP). These interactions are not exclusive to same-owner pets. These interactions assume the pets do things on their own while home, such as wandering
If a pet's personality type is shy or on the more cowardice side, then it will be chased by a pet with a braver or more in-your-face personality.
Misc.
If another player/wolf is nearby a cat and they have hurt their owner/other pets recently, it will hiss.
If a pet is on the shy side and a thunderstorm is occuring, they will follow a companion (defaults to owner) and shake (wolves will also whine). If a bed is in their assigned home, they may run to and stand on the bed to "hide".(will prefer the bed their owner last slept in, if inside their assigned home). This also occurs if sitting during a Raid.
