Can Mojang developers add a option in settings named "Minecraft Selection". This would be a option through which, we can run old editions of Minecraft Bedrock as well as some of old editions. This will give us the ability to run every Minecraft Bedrock from v1.2 to latest version. Also, in this version selection, we can run old edition which have been discontinued and were succeeded by Minecraft Bedrock edition. Those are:-
1) Windows 10 edition (Only for Windows)
2) Pocket Edition (Only for Android, iOS, iPadOS and Fire Tablet)
3) Fire TV edition (Only for Fire TV)
4) Legacy console edition (Only for Consoles)
Also, to run these old editions as well as old versions, we will have to download the resource as well as behaviour packs. The world created in the old versions or edition will be stored in the same folder where Minecraft data (worlds, add-ons, etc) is stored but a new folders will be created based on the down names (note that the slanted and bold text will be replaced by the version or edition)
Respective Versions = Minecraft_data_Respective_Versions
Respective Edition and Version = Minecraft_data_Respective_Edition_Version
for eg:- Minecraft Bedrock 1.8 data would be store in a folder named Minecraft_Data_1.8 and Minecraft Playstation Vita Edition 1.36 data will be stored in a folder named Minecraft_Data_Playstation_Vita_Edition_1.36 . Like this people would have idea of Minecraft Bedrock history and which version it has succeeded. In Minecraft Beta, we can access beta only.
