Sun and Moon Directions and Shadows

There should be an option for creating a new world that allows you to choose where the sun and moon rise and set (basically customize the position of the compass rose). Not only that, but there should also be shadows casted from the position of the sun and moon. Shadows can be casted by anything that includes blocks (of course), mobs, players, and even particles. Also, with this feature, zombies, skeletons and phantoms wouldn't have to just stand directly beneath a block to avoid catching fire during the day.
