Picture this: you’re running around outside when all the sudden, it starts raining! You then hurry and rush inside your house to escape it…but the rain is still just as loud? And just like that, your immersion is ruined. I would like to suggest that when you go indoors, the sound of the rain is quieter so you feel more like you’re in a house. This is something animal crossing does and I love it and I would like the same experience in Minecraft. The hope for this change is to create more immersion in Minecraft. As for how I want this done, I think that if the game senses if the player is in an enclosed area or not and should adjust the volume of the sound of the rain according to whether the game senses if the player is or isn’t in an enclosed space.
