Hey! Minecraft! I just thought of a new solo survival game: just do your normal solo survival minecrafting thing and all of a sudden: a random "survival element" pops up. Some elements could include: NPC's that show up that provide various side-quest type missions that require survival skills, e.g.: hunting/gathering, mini-builds, helping/saving someone or something; QTE's: inclement weather and natural disasters (fires, quakes, tornados); and aging: we know MC physics/logic are their own and that an MC day is relatively short IRL - if you have a 5 yr old active game, how old would you be in MC-years if you start the game at a default age?
Can you imagine you're just chopping some trees down and an NPC walks up behind you, "Hey! I need your help! Have you seen my pet/partner/past-time?" But that would be weird if you're in a mine/cave or if the pet died because you took too long. Or how about this: you're exploring a mountain vista and a blizzard rolls in and you have to keep from freezing (warmth, food, shelter). Of course, this all requires your entire catalog of survival skills and getting accustomed to some slightly updated physics/logic so that my ideas work and make sense, with the reward being pride and accomplishment, obviously.
Does that sound crazy to you or am I thinking too hard? Lol
