When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Cooper with redstone

Cooper blocks and copper rods can be used with redstone for example copper rods can be used to transmit a redstone signal if the redstone is connected to the rod

I saw a video on Youtube where a modder played around with this, and it was an awesome use really to give underwater wire and vertical signals in a cleaner fashion. This could be taken a step further and add the copper rods into blocks for aesthetic builds which I had seen as mod and was very fun to use. The balance was no built-in repeaters and comparators, requiring to still used all the redstone components. And button/levels/triggers couldn't be connected directly to the rods, or the rods themselves make turns, "ergo using copper blocks".
