Minecraft should stay fantasy.

I've heard that mobs like the shark won't be added because they share too many similarities with real life. The same reason applies to rideable dolphins, but Minecraft is a fantasy game. Sure, giving chocolate chip cookies to parrots kills them and bees losing their stingers kills them. You can have parallels, teaching children not to feed chocolate to their pet parrot, but I don't think the same impressionable child will be able to slay sharks in real life. If this is still a problem you could add fantasy elements to real life mods. I know that spiders and bees are made comically large and silverfish don't look anything like their real life counterparts. Sharks could look like angry blobfish of you want.

    This is basically just a post complaining about how Mojang said no to sharks.

    I'm also upset about sharks not getting into the game, but mostly because if they were simply added as a neutral mob, all the problems would be solved... swimming with sharks is a real thing, in case people don't realize... If there is a secret reason for them not adding sharks, then they should just tell us that they won't tell us why, not give controversial and easily escapable reasons...
