I am a Bedrock resource pack creator and I want to speak on behalf of the entire Bedrock creator community regarding RenderDragon.
Before RenderDragon, Bedrock creators had access to GLSL shaders, custom materials.json, full sky control, custom entity rendering and so much more. This allowed us to create incredible free shader packs and resource packs that the community loved.
When RenderDragon was introduced it completely destroyed years of work from dedicated creators overnight. Shader packs that took years to build became completely useless. Many talented creators quit entirely because everything they worked for was gone.
The Deferred Rendering pipeline is still very limited and barely documented. It is not a replacement for what we lost.
We are not asking for much, we just want our creative freedom back. Please either restore the old rendering system or give Bedrock creators full unrestricted access to the rendering pipeline.
The Bedrock creator community deserves the same freedom that Java Edition creators have always had.
