In java edition, when in a multiplayer world and chat is disabled by parental controls should not prevent the use of commands. What about the people who are building using commands or using commands to give items. why can't Mojang just transfer the way the parental controls work on bedrock, I know its not that simple, but servers on java are ruined by this simple setting, but on bedrock edition you can still use commands on multiplayer worlds. I know that using commands is linked to chat but isn't fun Minecraft's biggest selling point. What's the point of playing with commands turned on if you can't use them if someone joins? what is the point of even playing on java servers if this setting is on, just port over the way bedrock edition commands work. or is Mojang being forced to do this by Microsoft to promote the marketplace, almost everything on the bedrock edition featured servers requires some form of purchase using minecoins and usually this is over 1000 minecoins, which is $10 just to play one game while most java servers are free to play, what's the point of playing on a server that's pay to play on a paid game, is it because its on gamepass so microsoft needs something to offset the cost? if anyone wants to change this ridiculous setting that ruins so much of the appeal of java servers and minecraft in general, join me by voting for this change
