Minecraft’s oceans need a true progression path and a real boss encounter, and this update delivers both by introducing a complete Prismarine equipment tier and a full Elder Guardian and Ocean Monument overhaul. Prismarine Ore would generate in deep ocean biomes and drop Prismarine Shards, which must be smelted into Prismarine Crystals, and nine crystals craft into a single Prismarine Ingot; Guardians no longer drop prismarine, making ore the primary source. These ingots allow players to craft Prismarine Armor, Prismarine Tools, and a long‑requested craftable Trident, all slightly above diamond but below netherite, with underwater bonuses and the new Tidebreaker enchantment that boosts underwater combat and tool efficiency. Ocean Monuments are redesigned into structured underwater dungeons built from the new Prismantle block, featuring current‑based hallways, themed side rooms, and Faux Guardian nest chambers that must be cleared before reaching the new central Sea Chamber. The Elder Guardian becomes a true boss with 240 HP, a stronger laser that inflicts Weakness, and nine Faux Guardians acting like underwater End Crystals that continuously heal it until destroyed. Defeating the boss rewards a guaranteed Conduit, a new enchantment called Spikes which does damage to any mob that attacks the player while touching water and the new Seascale Armor Trim, creating a cohesive, rewarding ocean progression that finally gives underwater exploration the depth and identity it deserves.
