Hello Mojang Team,
To achieve true parity between editions, key gameplay and technical mechanics from Java Edition must be fully implemented in Bedrock Edition. Current differences significantly affect combat balance, redstone reliability, and advanced survival gameplay.
The following mechanics need to be aligned:
Combat System • Implement the attack cooldown system with visual indicator
• Add Sweeping Edge sword mechanics
• Introduce Java-style axe shield disable behavior
• Standardize shield timing consistency
These systems are essential for balanced PvP and strategic combat.
Off-Hand Functionality • Enable full off-hand support for all usable items
• Allow proper firework use with crossbows
• Permit block placement and tool usage from off-hand
Complete off-hand mechanics are necessary for tactical flexibility and combat depth.
Redstone Consistency • Implement quasi-connectivity
• Align piston update logic
• Enable reliable 1-tick pulse mechanics
• Standardize observer timing
Redstone parity is critical for technical players and complex automation builds.
Advanced Debug Tools • Add a full debug overlay
• Include chunk borders, entity count, and light level display
These tools are fundamental for optimization and technical gameplay.
Bringing these mechanics into alignment is necessary to establish true edition parity and ensure a consistent Minecraft experience across platforms.
Thank you for your consideration..
