Npc mechanic changes for animals and creatures

It’s been 15 years and nothing has changed with the animal and pet mechanics. It just took me 20 minutes to get my animals and horses home and I bout fell asleep because of how awful the lead mechanics are and npc mechanics themselves it’s like playing ark but worse. We really need an update so the npc pets and animals automatically jump or run over blocks and make the lead line much longer before it breaks because having a fast horse is basically a hindrance now because nothing can keep up. I do really like arks whistle mechanics and I feel adding that will improve this issue greatly or at least just improve the ai themselves in some way if that can’t be added.
