The Vine Hook is a new early-to-mid game tool crafted from 3 Iron Ingots, 1 Stick, and 2 Leads (pickaxe shape recipe).
It allows players to pull themselves toward solid blocks up to 8 blocks away, improving jungle, forest, and cave exploration without replacing Elytra.
Stats:
Base durability: 130 uses
Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
Cannot attach to leaves, glass, or slabs
Does not work in the Nether
New Enchantment – Grip I–III
Grip I: 10 block range, 140 durability
Grip II: 12 block range, 155 durability
Grip III: 15 block range, 200 durability
This tool is designed to support vertical exploration and parkour while staying balanced for survival gameplay.
Mojang, you can adjust the crafting recipe to be easier or keep it as suggested if it fits better with balance.
