This is a cave-dwelling spider that's face/eyes look like a kind of ore to trick players into attacking or coming near it. It could actually be made out of stone too, and potentially drop it's ore. Think of it like a mooshroom, but instead of a cow it's a spider, and instead of mushrooms it's an ore.

    why not just call it eye ore that glows red in the dark looking like spiders eyes. or just make it so Redstone ore has a texture variation that looks like a pair of eyes.
